JF take on Wing Yip 24/7 FM role.

Johnson Fellows has been appointed to take on a new Facilities Management contract by Wing Yip, the UK’s leading Oriental grocer/distributor.

The core of the portfolio is their superstore/business centres in Birmingham, Manchester,  Croydon, and Cricklewood, which total 965,000 sq ft across 22 acres .

Building on the existing property management relationship, Johnson Fellows will now deal with the Facilities Management of Wing Yip’s trading stores too, including the management of all service contracts and maintenance requirements.

Ian Starbuck, Partner within the Property Management Department said, ‘’ We are really excited by this appointment, which is aimed at taking the burden away from the client so that they can concentrate on their core business.  We have developed a strong relationship with Wing Yip over the past 3 years whilst managing their non-trading property portfolio, which is evidenced by our expanded role. Wing Yip is a key client for Johnson Fellows, and we look forward to working even more closely with them.’’

In tandem with this new instruction, the Facilities Management team has been expanded.  Hardeep Sandhar has joined the team to head up the creation of a 24/7 Property Helpdesk.
