Johnson Fellows is a winner with Quicksilver

A major amusement arcade brand has appointed chartered surveyors Johnson Fellows as service charge managers for its entire UK portfolio, it has been announced.

Talarius operate 170 gaming arcades under the Quicksilver brand and 8,000 stand-alone gaming machines. It is owned by Tatts Group – one of the biggest gaming companies in Australia.

Johnson Fellows currently manage 33 sublet properties for the company, but that number is set to increase as Talarius continue to acquire additional sites.

The Birmingham-based surveyors already have a strong relationship with Talarius, handling lettings, disposals and undertaking building surveying and management services for the company.

Ginny Simpson, surveyor in the property management department at Johnson Fellows, said: “We are very pleased to be able to announce that we have been appointed by Talarius to handle service charge management for their UK portfolio.

“We will be working hard to deliver substantial cost savings for the company by providing a highly professional service charge management package, which will include challenging levels of service charges that do not appear to be in line with lease agreements.

“At Johnson Fellows, we always aim to exceed our client’s expectations by adding value and reducing liabilities within their portfolios. This new instruction for service charge management follows the successful delivery of our management service, which we currently provide for Talarius.”

Johnson Fellows’ team of surveyors manage an extensive range of retail and commercial property throughout the UK. The property management team has a wide client base including national multiple retailers, landlords, property companies, pension funds and private investors. The company specialises in sublet retail portfolio management and manages an array of national commercial investment portfolios, shopping centres, and individually, privately owned investments.
