JF instructed by Birmingham City Council on city centre retail portfolio

The Retail Agency team at Johnson Fellows have been awarded the prestigious contract to advise Birmingham City Council regarding all retail  lettings and disposals that arise in  the Council’s city centre investment portfolio.

The Council’s ownerships include  prime  blocks throughout the length of Corporation Street with tenants including EE, Leeds Building Society and Starbucks together with some specialist trading locations such as City Arcade and Cannon Street.

Current letting instructions include the former Rex Johnson Jewellers in Corporation Street close to Apple, New Look and Grand Central shopping centre, which forms part of New Street Station.  Iain Mills of Johnson Fellows said “we are receiving a good level of interest in the premises available on Corporation Street, even in these tumultuous times on the High Street and are hopeful of adding to the occupiers along this busy retail destination within the City Centre shortly”.
